Although the COVID-19 pandemic kept students and faculty from being part of study abroad experiences in 2020 and 2021, Motlow's students and community college students from across the state had the chance to broaden their horizons in Summer 2022 with a trip to England. Professor Nathan Sweeton crafted an opportunity for students to earn credit in Introduction to Literature during their 3-week England program. Sweeton, who had previously taught the course in a Summer 2019 program (the last one before the pandemic), highlighted the experience in which students not only visited historical sites such as the Tower of London but also got to see a play (or two or three) and participate in the quintessential English afternoon tea!
